For some reason, tripod is changing the way we make our websites. Mine being
a free website they want us to use this new web building thing, which means 'migrating'. Last time a website host wanted me
to migrate was Tagworld, and i had problems logging in and lost all my work on there. It disappeared into the nether regions
of cyberspace, and i am pissed off cause my music on there was popular and i had quite a following. when they wanted to migrate
from Tagworld to something else, it seemed to have *raspberried*. I am worried Tripod will do the same.
As i get older,
i seem to have less patience to learn something new and i have less patience for all these new fancy watchmecallits that are
happening to the internet. So i do not know what will happen to my website when they do the migrating. Hopefully the
website i created will stay up as long as possible until i can fathom out what this new web building app can do without me
losing my stuff.
I will try to keep anyone posted about the tripod fansites when i know more myself. My son does know
of a better web building place for me to do my thing, which i am hoping to use not only for my fansite, but for some of my
fiction. But again, its having to learn something new. I am hoping my little cherub will help his poor ole frustrated mother
out on this one.
